He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Stimits and Ollie Stimits (Woods); and his brother Elton Ray Stimits. He is survived by: his wife Velma Stimits (Smith); his children, Cecil Stimits, Jr., Chris Stimits and Miranda Oyler (Chris); his stepsons, Gregory Jackson, Jeffery Jackson, Stewart Jackson and Phillip Jackson; his siblings, Curtis Stimits and Mary Ellen Cole (Elton); and his grandchildren, Christion Oyler and Abigail Oyler. He is also survived by seven step grandchildren.
