He is survived by: his wife Alpha Burdine of Buna; his children, Gail Stanley, Rex of Buna, Brenda Dozier, Mark of San Marcus and Glenn Burdine of Buna; and his sister Glovenia "Glo" McRae of Houston. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
