She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry McGalin and Artie McGalin; her husband Alvie Capps; and her siblings, Laverne Jordan, Willie Mae Jeans and Larry Ray McGalin.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Rebecca Jackson of Buna, Malcom Fuselier Sr. (Theresa) and David Berwick (Lisa); her sister Imogene Burton of Dallas; and her grandchildren, Cassandra Alford, Michael Jackson, Tanya Sims, Diana Fuselier, Jimmy Payne, Malcom Fuselier Jr., Joanna Willison, Felicia Johnson, Samantha Fuselier, Ethan Berwick and Amaris Bridges. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces/nephews.
