She was predeceased by: her spouses, Frederick Evans and Marion Ricks; her son Michael F. Evans; her parents, J. R. Caldwell and Mittie Caldwell; and her stepdaughter Jan Rhoads.
She is survived by: her grandson Michael W. Evans (Erin); her great grandchildren, Brayden, Grayson and Sarah Evans; her stepson Benny Rhoads (Lillie); her granddaughter Courtney Rhoads Alcott (Sean); her great grandchildren, Katelyn, Ava and Luke Alcott; her stepsons, Clyde W. Ricks (Marjorie) and Mark Ricks (Sheila); and her cousin Janice Lester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Ricks' honor can be made to any no-kill animal shelter or pet rescue organization in order that you may, according to Mrs. Ricks, "Save all the puppies.".
