He was predeceased by: his siblings, Hilda Nellie Mireles and Miguel "Mike" Mireles; and his parents, Maria Luz Cuellar Mireles and Ricardo Mireles, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Mireles; his children, Sara Mireles, Sabrina Mireles, Kassie Purpura (James) and Joel Schwirtlich (Heather); his grandchildren, Addison and Gavin; his sister-in-law Sherri Mireles; his niece Mikela Mireles; and his nephew Miguel "Mike" Mireles, Jr..
