He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Gawlik and Irma Gawlik (Urbanczyk); and his siblings, Arlene and Mikey. He is survived by: his siblings, Linda, Edward, Dennis, Debbie, Mark and Karen; his wife Wanda Marlene (Fuquay); his children, Michelle Hancock (Will), Larry Gawlik II (Teri) and Rhonda Adams (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Larisa, Emily, William, Alyra and Kaley.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home (1071 FM2673, Canyon Lake, TX 78133). A rosary was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (5093 Redwood Rd, San Marcos, TX 78666).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Tunnel to Towers or The Fisher House, two organizations that reflect Larry's values and dedication to helping others.
