It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Fern Lindquist in Bulverde, Texas, born in Hermosa, South Dakota, who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Leroy Madill and Mable King Madill; her husband Dennis Andrew Lindquist; her son Douglas Leroy Kieffer; her siblings, Alice Johnson, Mae Ader, Emma Baumann, Adeline Madill, Margaret Madill, Albert, Clinton, Bill Madill and Kenneth Watkins; and her grandson Eric Wayne Kieffer.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Kieffer, Robert James Kieffer and Ricky Wayne Kieffer (Mary); her siblings, Jane Jones, Charlotte Dunlap, Delores Swoyer and Arthur Waldo Madill (Nancy); her grandchildren, Joshua Kieffer, Jason Kieffer (Leiloni), Candace Rae Kieffer, Jennifer Sandoval (Michael) and Christopher; and her great grandchildren, Reece Kieffer, Samuel Kieffer, Rafael Perez, Celine Mata, Sophia Kieffer, Aiden Kieffer and Mia Bella Kieffer.
