He was predeceased by: his fathers-in-law, Tommy Powell and Ray Vaughn; his sister-in-law Susan Bennett; and his nephew Chris Bennett. He is survived by: his parents, Carleton Kothmann and Barbara Rue Kothmann; his wife Theressa Kothmann (Powell) of Sulphur Springs, TX.; his children, Whitney and Stephanie Kothmann; his siblings, Eric (Connie Kothmann) and Kyle (Melissa Kothmann); his mother-in-law Sharlyn Vaughn (Powell); and his siblings-in-law, John Powell (LaWana) and Linda Mathes (Bryan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
