She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Bishop and Agnes Bishop (Saltsgiver); her husband Leroy Gehring; and her siblings, Vonna Buchholz, Harry Bishop, Clarence Bishop and Esther Sivert.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Gehring (Karen) of Cedar Rapids, Jon Gehring (Elizabeth) of Helena, Dennis Gehring (Jeannine) of Marion and Irene Konzen (Kevin) of San Antonio, Texas; and her brother Neal Bishop (Jo Ann) of Clermont, Iowa.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
