She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Akins and Ruby Akins (Rutherford); her husband Floyd Ronald Head; and her son Floyd Ronald Head Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Teeter (James), Pamela Payne (Leon Jr), Cynthia Sweet (Victor Sobrino), Kimberly Ross (Robert) and Colette Woody; and her grandchildren, Ronnie Micheli, Anthony Micheli (Brittany), Matt Micheli (Jennifer), Leon Payne III (Sherry), Tiffany Still (Tommy), Erin Fahrney (Brandon), Ryan Sweet (Lynda), Charlie Compton (Bonnie), Cody Yates (Amanda), Jacquelyn Lewison (Wesley) and Gavin McMilian (CJ).
