With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jesse J Mayo of Bullard, Texas, born in Whitesboro, Texas, who passed away on February 5, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Mayo and Nora Mayo; his siblings, Thurman Mayo and Reviah Butts; and his great grandchild David Wilcox.

He is survived by: his wife Nell; his daughters, Belinda Tompkins (Ty) of Chandler, TX., Misty Yarotsky (Steve) of Friendswood, TX. and Jill Mayo of Dallas, TX.; and his stepdaughters, Katherine Fallis (Tim) of Bowie, TX., Cheryl Ciufo (Chris) of San Marino, CA. and Mary Wilcox (Fred) of Timpson, TX.. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.

“I have my dad's ashes. When it is cooler we will "grant his wishes" but, I have really enjoyed talking to him everyday. First time in my 55 years, he does argue back. I miss him greatly.”
