In loving memory of Elton A. Raney of Bullard, Texas, who departed this world on February 22, 2025 at the age of 57. Elton leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joy Patterson and Grover Raney; his stepfather L. D. Patterson; and his siblings, Grover, Kenneth, Ronnie Raney, Rose Ann Raney and Beth Ginn.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Tiffany Anderson (Spencer) and Aaron Raney (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Norah, Luke, Jordan and Sadie; and his siblings, Walter Cantrell (Carol), Steven Raney (Amy), Robert Raney (Jackie), Shelby Raney (Laura), Henry Raney (Charlie), Joy (Frank Serrato), Audrey (Nathan Harris), Frankie (Michael Whisenant), Lena Farmer, Joyce Marie (Clyde Smalling), Charlotte (Mike Cordell), Peggy Gunnels, Marilyn Garrett and Carolyn Dennis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home (1530 N 45th St, Corsicana, TX 75110). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Life Worship Center (18535 US-69, Tyler, TX 75703). A committal service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Resthaven Memorial Park (5400 State Hwy 31 W, Corsicana, TX 75110).
