He is survived by: his wife Linda Taylor of Bullard; his children, Suzette Taylor-Thedford (Ernie) of Noonday and Denny Taylor (Tessara) of Chapel Hill; his siblings, David Burr and Judy Sherrill (Randy) of Indiana; his grandchildren, Ryan Taylor (Lindsey) of Noonday, Ryan Cockrell (Markie) of Forney and Austin Cockrell; his great grandchildren, Jaden Taylor, Caiden Taylor, Easton Cockrell and Alara Cockrell; and his friends, Carey, Charlotte Wood, Stan and Sharon Sobotka.
