He was predeceased by: his parents, Lofton Harris and Alice Harris (Butler); and his siblings, Gene, Tom, Jack, Clemontine Patterson, Elizabeth Ray, Bernice Ray, Leone Foster and Mary Alice Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Harris of Bullard; his children, Mike Harris (Deanna) of Bullard, Suzanne Bryson (Steve) of Austin and Jeff Harris (Mary) of Tyler; his siblings, Charles "Skeeter" Harris of Bullard, Zane Langley of Bullard, Nellie Hathaway of New Boston and Martha Spears of Bullard; and his grandchildren, Jenise, Jesse, Jaelyn, Sarah, Matt, Jamie and Kyle. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
