He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth (Liz) Covey (Barham); his parents, Ralph William Covey Jr. and Beverly Elane Bakeman (Bell); his stepfather Harry "Coxy" Bakeman; and his grandfather Clark Bell.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Casey Hahn Jr. (Sherry) of Brenham, TX, Jason Hahn of Caldwell, TX and Angela Hatch Gladney (Jimmie) of Arlington, TX; his son Nicholas Covey of Bullard, TX; his grandchildren, Haylee Hahn, Hunter Hahn, Harley Hahn, Jaden Evans, Alexia Hatch, Landen Gladney and Tanner Hatch; his great grandchild Kinsley Martinson; his brothers-in-law, Earnest L. Barham (Cheri) of Bellville, TX, Kenneth Barham (Kathy) of Bastrop, TX and Robert Barham (Cynthia) of Argyle, TX.; and his cousins, Marsha Degroot and Pam Potts. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
