It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Lee King of Buffalo, Texas, born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merick King and Annie Sue (Byrd); her son Julius Turner; her grandson Bryston Turner; and her sisters, Alberta Byrd and Sylvania Byrd.
She is survived by: her sons, Nathan King and Eric Turner; her grandson Emerson King; and her siblings, Waymon Byrd, Annette King and Vera King. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
