He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert E. Rogers and Opal Rogers (McWhirter); his wife Willie Frances Rogers; and his brother Paul H. Rogers of Tacoma, WA.. He is survived by: his brother Leroy Rogers of Houston; and his children, Craig Rogers of Kingsville and Ava Cook of Tomball. He is also survived by four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and countless loving friends.
