He was predeceased by: his wife Wenonah Ward; his parents, Alvis Ward and Lee Lorene Ward; and his brother Alvis Wayne Ward. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Kuykendall; his granddaughter Shelby Bell; his great grandchild Abigail Bell of Buffalo, Texas; his siblings, Diana James of Buffalo, Texas and Luther Ward of Waco, Texas; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Ward, Robert James, Wayne Ward, Jr., Sheri Arteaga and Vickie Gonzales.
