It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lauri Gilliam Davis (Buffalo, Texas), born in Fairfield, Texas, who passed away on May 21, 2018, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Betty Joy Gilliam. She is survived by: her father Fred Gilliam of Buffalo; her husband Mitchell Davis of Buffalo; her children, Julie Davis (Atanacio), Hinojosa Davis of McAllen, Karen Davis of Pflugerville and Todd Davis (Kaitlyn) of Ft; her siblings, Jerry Gilliam (Sherri) of Buffalo and Bonnie Massengale (Chuck) of Buffalo; her grandsons, Cristian Hinojosa and Daniel Hinojosa; and her friend Valarie Marroquin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in support of the DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center at Houston Methodist.
