He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella B. Ivey (Peterson) and Ernest Earl Ivey; his brothers, Harold J. Ivey, John E. Ivey and Robert F. Ivey; his half-siblings, David Ivey and Brenda Paul; and his stepsisters, Margarita "Maggie" Espinoza and Lillie Leal.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jesse E. Ivey (Ann) of Dayton, George A. Ivey (Gloria) of Montgomery, Texas, Brenda L. Ivey of Leander and Sylvia B. Lecuyer (Larry) of Granbury, Texas; his half-siblings, Ernest Ivey Jr., Lee Roy Ivey (Becky) of Houston, Freddie Ivey of Santa Fe, Texas and Jenny Alanis; his stepbrother Raymond Rivera of Colorado; and his pets, Jack and Dottie. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
