She was predeceased by: her parents, James Taylor "J. T." Carter and Vivian Stanford; and her husband Johnny Pittman. She is survived by: her daughter Tara Pittman of Centerville; and her half-brother James Carter (Peggy) of Graham. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
