He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Ernest and Alma Lynn Lee (Gore); and his brother Larry Lee. He is survived by: his daughters, Allison Lee of Buffalo and Rachel Lee of Houston; his sister Mary Lynn Lee of Tennessee Colony; and also, Janet Lee of Houston, Elizabeth Welch of Santa Fe and Kathryn Trantham of Santa Fe. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
