He is survived by: his mother Neta Fae Wheeler; his wife Kayla; his sons, Michael (Marianna) of Mineral Wells, Brice (Erica) of Eastland, Jere (Amanda) of Baird and Joshua Prescott (Maria) of Abilene; his grandchildren, Kristen, Shelby, Amberlyn, Ariel, Gavin, Olivia, Toby, Aiden and Brooklyn; and his sisters, Elaine Cuson and Joy Phillips.

Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church, Buffalo Gap Missions Fund or to Love and Care Ministries.
