He is survived by: his grandchildren, Travis Carpenter, Garrett Carpenter, Saydee and Reagan Blosser; and his siblings, Doug Carpenter (Theda) of Buffalo Gap, Jack Carpenter of Abilene and Jean Wood of Abilene. He is also survived by three sons.
