He is survived by: his parents, James Jay and Gloria Jean Washburn; his grandparents, Homer, Violet Warren, Sherman and Marthell Washburn of Junction City, Kansas.; his siblings, Rachel Seitzer (Matthew), Rebecca Washburn, Jake Washburn (Tammy) and Joy Cannon (Brett); and his nieces and nephews, Allison, Zachary Seitzer, Philip Bunton, Lucy and Eleanor Washburn. He is also survived by many friends and a large extended family.
