Irene Juarez Mercado Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2025, at the age of 80, Irene Juarez Mercado of Buda, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Perfecto Mercado Jr. (Leslie); her parents, Florentino and Catalina; and her siblings, Julia Gonzales, Macario Juarez, Angela Trevino and Alejandra Garza.
She is survived by: her husband Perfecto Mercado; her children, Eduardo Mercado and Patricia Aldridge (Ron); her grandchildren, Jennifer Mercado, Stefany Espinosa (Martin), Samantha Anderson, Hope Mercado and Perfecto Mercado III; her great grandchildren, Cadin, Donovan and Venelope; and her siblings, Jesse Juarez (Mary), Maria Gonzales and Janie Juarez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomason Funeral Home - Lockhart (2220 S Colorado St, Lockhart, TX 78644). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (80 S Old Spanish Trail, Uhland, TX 78640).
