He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Ruiz and Frances. He is survived by: his wife Maria O. Ruiz; and his children, Gumesindo Julian Ruiz III (Liz) of Pearsall, Anita Ruiz (Miguel) of Pearsall, Priscilla Ruiz and Sofia Vasquez. He is also survived by numerous grandkids, nieces, nephews and cousins.
