He is survived by: his wife Frances Powell of Buckholts; his sons, Francis Powell (Rosa), Scott Powell and Michael Powell; his stepchildren, Chase Wampler (Erica) and Candi Johnson (Brandon); his nephew Russell Doucet; and his niece Jamie Culp. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
