He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Hugh (Lettie Lewis Powell) and Kimbra; and his son Hugh Powell. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Schultz; and his children, Karen Jennings (David), Jay Powell (Kristy) and David Powell (Josie). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.
