He was predeceased by: his parents, W. C. Egger and Lila Matheny Egger; his sons, Ricky and Cody Egger; and his siblings, Roger Egger and Barbara Rainey.
He is survived by: his daughter Diana Marie Egger; his siblings, Willie David Egger, Brenda Helmer, Norma Egger and Jimmy Egger; and his grandchildren, Kendra Gimbert, Riley Martinez and Delilla Martinez. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ebony Cemetery (144 Co Rd 538, Mullin, TX 76864).
