He was predeceased by: his parents, A. N. Cason and Christine Blackwell Cason; his brothers, Robert L. Cason (Bob) and George Ray Cason (Ray); and his nephews, Landy L. Cason, Brad V. Cason and Gary Cason.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Cahill Cason of Buchanan Dam; his nephews, Andy Cason (Glenda) of Lake Jackson, Rodney Cason (Wanda) of Kenai, San Angelo and David Wayne Cason (Jeni) of Robert Lee; and his niece Candy Cason Olson of San Antonio. He is also survived by great nephews, great nieces and first cousins.
