He was predeceased by: his parents, Les Tate and Earl Tate; his brother Leslie Garnell Tate; and his grandson Wyndell Lynn Tate. He is survived by: his wife Flo Tate of Bryson; his children, Leon Tate of Olney and Denell O'Donald (Doyle) of Meridian; his grandchildren, Khristi Bowers (Michael) of Clifton, Neesa Laughlin of Meridian and Wacey Layne Tate (Laci) of Olney; his great grandchildren, Colton, Bailey, Dustan, Kenzie and Cooper; his great great grandchild Tannan; and also Vicki Zowarka of Olney.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in Dee's name to the Bryson Volunteer Fire Department, Beyond Faith Hospice or to the First Baptist Church in Bryson, Texas.
