He is survived by: his wife Mary Hendrick-Carrell of Sour Lake; his mother Shirley Carrell of Shiro; his children, Richard Carrell Jr. of San Antonio and Kristian Wilson of Tyler; his brother Glen Ray; his sister-in-law Glenda Carrell of Navasota; his brother Robbie; and his sister-in-law Audra Carrell of Shiro. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, many nieces, great nieces and great great nieces, as well as many nephews, great nephews and great great nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory (3001 S College Ave, Bryan, TX 77801). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Callaway-Jones Funeral Home (3001 S College Ave, Bryan, TX 77801). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Independence Cemetery.
