We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2024, at the age of 97, Naomi Ruth McLendon of Bryan, Texas, born in Port Arthur, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Naomi leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parent Minnie Myrtle Lakey (Covington); her husband William McLendon; her siblings, Larry, Billy and Barbara; her grandson Patrick "Pat" Lemont Barnes; and her great grandchild Austin Dakota Yawn.
She is survived by: her children, 'Monty' Yawn and Robbie Sparks (Tom); her granddaughters, Lorrie White (Cody) and Annie Gonzalez (Daniel); and her great grandchildren, Conner White and Gabriel Gonzalez. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
