Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Maria leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pablo Pena and Dometilla Pena (Rodriguez). She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Rueda, Albert Rueda (Gloria), George Rueda (Lori) and Lee Greg Rueda (Sue); and her brother Joe M. Pena (Jeanette). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Trevino-Smith Funeral Home & Crematory (2610 S Texas Ave, Bryan, TX 77802). A rosary was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bryan City Cemetery (1111 N Texas Ave, Bryan, TX 77802). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Trevino-Smith Funeral Home & Crematory (2610 S Texas Ave, Bryan, TX 77802).
