She was predeceased by: her parents, Emiterio Betancourt and Micaela Sanchez; her husband Francisco Rangel Sr.; her son Patricio Rangel; and her siblings, Jacinta, Luisa Betancourt, Isaac, Eujenio and Ascension Betancourt.
She is survived by: her children, Armando Rangel (Maria), Jesus Rangel (Angelica), Adrian Rangel (Lourdes), Francisco Rangel Jr., Jorge Betancourt, Javier Betancourt and Juana (Ramundo Rojas); and her siblings, Gregorio Betancourt, Simon Betancourt (Isabel), Juana Betancourt, Socoro Betancourt and Inocencia Betancourt (Jesus Gonzalez). She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Treviã±o-Smith Funeral Home (2610 S Texas Ave, Bryan, TX 77802). A rosary was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Trevino Smith Funeral Home (2610 S Texas Ave, Bryan, TX 77802). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Santa Teresa Catholic Church (1212 Lucky St, Bryan, TX 77803). A burial was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 2:15 PM at the Bryan City Cemetery (1111 N Texas Ave, Bryan, TX 77802).
