He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Franklin Caldwell and Juanita Roberts Caldwell; his siblings, Hugh (Rocky), Millard F. Caldwell (Belinda) and Amy C. Laurent (Charles); his wife Crystal Laigast Caldwell; and his granddaughter Sarah Caldwell.
He is survived by: his sisters, Bonnie L. Caldwell (Dale) and Trudy C. Kent; his grandchildren, George Smith, Jr., Crystal Smith and Ciara Smith; his great grandchild Kylo Cosey; and his nephew Matthew Caldwell (Mindy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mothe Funeral Home (2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA 70058). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Westlawn Cemetery (1225 Whitney Ave., Terrytown, LA 70056).
