The memory of Kathleen K. Murphy of Bryan, Texas, who passed away on March 31, 2025 at the age of 73, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As Kathleen departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Kathleen. Though Kathleen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parent EJ Koon; her brother Jack Koon; and her granddaughter Allyson Bridwell. She is survived by: her husband Billy Murphy; her sister Karolyn Anthony; and her children, Shane Murphy (Janise) and Melany Wolfe (Bryan). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (3100 Cambridge Dr, Bryan, TX 77802).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach designated for Ally's Place in memory of Kathy Murphy.
