He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Reddon and Florence Ward (Andrus); and his siblings, Lois Galloway (Ray) and Albert Morris (Bernice Faye). He is survived by: his wife Joan "Mimi"; his children, Johnny Ray (Tommie), Robert, Craig (Kristina), Vanessa (Mitchell), Stacy (Daryl), Julie (Todd), John (Louise), Joycelyn (Mark) and Tom; his grandchildren, Nathan, Brandon, Brian, Robert Dale, David, Dillon, Keaton, Kelsey, Craigory, Braedon, Kayleigh, Trey, Sydney, Jackson, Michael, Matthew, Avery, John William, Alexis, Bethaney and Brady; and his nieces and nephews, Elaine, Donna (Ronnie), Marci Kay, Butch, Kyle and Bubba Cox (Jill). He is also survived by Eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Chapel (1515 S College Ave, Bryan, TX 77801). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Baptist Church (1070 N Harvey Mitchell Pkwy, Bryan, TX 77803).
