He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Newton (Bob) and Louise Fred Newton; and his son Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Patricia of Bryan, Texas; his son Cory of Mondovi, Wisconsin; his granddaughter Kylie; his daughter-in-law Jamie of Arlington, Texas; and his brothers, Tom (Carolyn) of Morton, Texas and Steve (Rhea Lyn) of Brownwood. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and spouses and their children.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory (3001 S College Ave, Bryan, TX 77801). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 3:15 PM to 3:45 PM at the Bryan City Cemetery (1111 N Texas Ave, Bryan, TX 77803).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Texas 4-H Youth Development Foundation.
