It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anthony Canatella of Bryan, Texas, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Canatella and Minnie Canatella (Vasta); and his siblings, Gus, Joe, Charlie, Luke Canatella, Josephine Gargano, Bonnie Canatella, Mary Turner, Carrie Marino and Willie Mae Licce.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Ann; his son Rick; his daughter-in-law Tonya Canatella; his daughter Janice; his son-in-law Randy Blum; his grandchildren, Amanda Blum of Bryan, Clayton Blum of Bryan, Joseph Anthony Canatella of Bryan and Austin Canatella of Bryan; his brother Sam Canatella (Bernice) of Navasota; and his siblings-in-law, Buddy and Mary Frances Zemanek of Bryan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (507 E 26th St, Bryan, TX 77803). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
