It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alice C. Medrano of Bryan, Texas, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Alice may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alice touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Emiel Medrano Sr.; and her son Samuel Nathan Medrano. She is survived by: her husband Rudy Rueda; her sons, Emiel Medrano Jr. (Vivian Medrano) and Rudy Rueda, Jr.; and her sister Millie Constancio. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillier Funeral Home & Cremations (2301 E 29th St, Bryan, TX 77802). A rosary was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (507 E 26th St, Bryan, TX 77803). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
