She was predeceased by: her siblings, Estelle Mahan, Melba Schochler and Elvin B. Gatlin. She is survived by: her spouse Marcellus Parrish; her children, Dwayne Parrish (Kathy) and Michelle Pena; her grandchildren, Katie Carter (Cooper), Cody Rosier (Britni), Kayne Parrish (Vienna), Rachel Atterton (Matthew) and Kaci Mitchell; and her great grandchildren, Kynlee, Tanner Atterton, Mason, Hunter Connally, Weston Rosier, Dixie, Wyatt, Gunner Metcalf, Ethan, Bryce, Zachary Mitchell, Laiklyn and River.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bailey & Foster Funeral Home (207 S Magnolia St, Palestine, TX 75801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Neches (200 Anderson Dr, Neches, TX 75779). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Concord Cemetery.
