He was predeceased by: his parents, Choice Winfield, Sr. and Sudie Scott (McKee); his wife Jodene Polk; his former wife Marie Bridger; his sisters, Margie Scott Lunsford, Effie Scott Kincannon and Celest Scott Taylor; and his great grandchild Bridger Hogan.

He is survived by: his children, Craig Scott (Brandi) of Palestine and Carolyn Scott Koepf (John Weldon) of Glen Rose; his stepdaughter Donna Bridger Hogan (Frankie) of Robinson; his grandchildren, Kristen Koepf Ray (Kevin), Lauren Koepf Sparks (Chuck), Erin Koepf Cason (Jody), Meagan Scott Thurston, Haley Scott Berryman, Darrell Hogan (Lori) and Cherie Hogan Walker (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Chandler, Shelby, Allie Sparks, Hayden Scott, Kymber Thurston, Cason Scott, Brayden Berryman, Kassidy Montgomery (Brian), Kaliee, Ashlan Brock, Matt Walker and Jace Walker (Katy). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
