Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Wanda leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Compton and Burlie Jester Vest (Ratliff); her husband Hubert Morrow; and her son Gary Mitchell. She is survived by: her niece Patricia Irvin (Jerry) of Glen Rose, Texas; her stepson Tommy Morrow (Ann) of Florence, Texas; her daughter-in-law Sharon Mitchell of Carlsbad, NM; and her grandchildren, Brian Morrow, Shelly Locke and Julie Denton. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (1620 N A St, Midland, TX 79705).
