She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Cope and Della Cope; and her brothers, Bill Cope and Wendell Cope. She is survived by: her husband Dean Stephenson. She is also survived by her four children and their spouses; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Coggin Avenue Baptist Church (1815 Coggin Ave, Brownwood, TX 76801).
