He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolberto Tobias Garcia, Sr. and Juanita Carbajal Menchaca Tobias; his son Rodolfo "Rudy" Tobias; and his siblings, Felipe Tobias, Victoriano Tobias, Sr., Guadalupe Tobias, Hermenegildo Tobias, Eduardo Tobias, Ernestina Loera, Vicenta Arreola and Viviana Tobias of Acosta.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Olivia Flores of Tobias; his children, Refugio "Toby" Tobias of Brownwood, Rosaelia "Rosa" Sikes of Brownwood, Ramiro Tobias (Sylvia) of Brownwood, Reynaldo "Rey" Tobias of Brownwood, Roberto "Robert" Tobias of Brownwood and Olivia Cantwell (Johnny) of Early; his siblings, Francisca Tobias Carbajal of Jimenez Coahuila and Magdaleno Tobias Carbajal; and his friend Jose Alcorta. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other members of the family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church (1105 Main St, Brownwood, TX 76801).
