With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mike Hayes in Brownwood, Texas, born in San Angelo, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mike left this world on February 20, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Hayes and Colleen Hayes; and his granddaughter Shelby McKillip. He is survived by: his wife Becky Hayes; his daughter Mary Colleen Jennings; his sons-in-law, Shane Jennings (Cherrie McKillip) and Ken McKillip; his grandchildren, Madison McKillip, Morgan, Gideon Luck, Zach, Alaina Jennings and Audrey McKillip; his great grandchild Elsie Jennings; and his siblings, Phillip (Shirley Hayes), Cheryl (Gene Turney), Cebia (Mark Martin) and Jenny (Bob Martin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Early Church of Christ (900 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Shelby's Grace Foundation in honor of his beloved granddaughter.
