She is survived by: her husband Sammy Riley Owens of Brownwood; her son Patrick Laird of Brownwood; her grandchildren, David Laird of Queensland Australia and Teri Laird of Orlando Florida; her brother Dewitt Welch III of De Leon; and her niece Carey Liendo of Comanche.
