LaWan Israel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2024, at the age of 82, LaWan Israel of Brownwood, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Washington Ingram and Mary Sue Hash Ingram; her husband James Eldon Israel; her daughter Kimberly Israel; and her granddaughter Chrissie Israel Morgan.
She is survived by: her children, Jack Eldon Israel (Karen) and Alison Sue Israel; her siblings, John Ingram (Mindy), Ramona Morris (Jim) and Jacklyn Ingram Leal (Ernesto); her grandchildren, Heather Langford Schultz, Amber Langford Cain (Jason), Joseph Eldon Israel (Brittany), Bayli Barnhill Chavez (Andres), Kyley Israel and Ellie James Israel; and her great grandchildren, Emalynn Horton, Selah Horton, Stetson Morgan, Aubrey Israel, Micah Schultz, Wyatt Morgan, Colt Israel and Aeson Chavez. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and many other relatives, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brownwood Funeral Home (2512 Belle Plain St, Brownwood, TX 76801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Coggin Avenue Baptist Church (1815 Coggin Ave, Brownwood, TX 76801).
In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to Coggin Baptist.
